There are two words alongside the achievement agenda which describe what is not only unique, but also fundamental to everything that we do at The Duston School - respect and care. In essence, we expect all our young people, staff and parents alike to demonstrate these qualities in everything that they do. I believe very strongly that if we as adults have respect for our students, they in turn will respect us and together we can achieve anything.

To support our focus in improving Learning and Teaching, we have introduced an eclectic range of opportunities to instil enthusiasm, excitement and energy into the learning at The Duston School. This includes:

Specialist College in Business and Enterprise, and Science;

Innovative appointments of Professionals in Residence;
A CMCD School (Consistency Management and Co-operative Discipline);
Police Officer and PCSO appointed;
Pilot to a National Health Care Trust project.
