Designer Golf is run by Andrew Ash who is a Director of the Company as well as being the Clubmaker and who had looked at the potential of operating as a Clubmaker in the UK for a number of years, after seeing how successful independent clubmakers were in the United States, where the market is dominated by discount stores, mail order and clubmakers and where normally the pro shop at the golf course does not retail clubs.
The business operates from a retail site on the junction of the A14 and B576 (originally A6) and is ideally placed geographically for anyone travelling from North, South, East or West.
Our clients range from Tour Professionals right through all categories of players to beginners, covering men, women and juniors and everyone receives the same attention to detail, irrespective of their playing ability. Currently we have in excess of 1500 players using our clubs, from as far a field as the USA and Australia and in virtually every European Country.
We pride ourselves in offering exceptional value for money, without lowering our quality standards and in order to remain competitive we source the majority of our components directly from originating foundries, making it possible to control the quality standards.
