Welland Medical (Leicester) formed in 1988 is one of the largest independent manufacturers of healthcare equipment in the United Kingdom.

We are one of a diminishing number of true UK manufactures left - all products are manufactured "in house" in our Leicester factory, and all components are UK sourced.

We produce cost effective, high quality products for use by professional health and social care establishments, local authorities, private nursing homes/hospitals, pharmacies, retail dealers and the general public.

The company is famous for its development of a number of products namely the best selling 'Rutland Trolley Walker'. We are the original designers of the ubiquitous perching/kitchen/shower stool, and offer the largest range of this product in the market place.
